  daddy
as we grow older, we tend not to remember the things that happened to us as a child.
but we do have a few choice memories.

one memory that i vaguely remember is my dad and me going to the jurong east theatre to watch pocahontas. i don't know if it happened or if it's all true but i everytime i watch a disney classic movie i think about pocahontas. it was just me and my dad. we didn't buy anything to eat in the theatre. my dad's like that. he rarely buys me snacks coz i just snacked to much then and never ate proper food. i don't remember my brother being there nor my mother. and the theatre was when it was first built. they were still on the ground floor. my family always went there to watch movies. i remember a bakery, the smell of popcorn while we waited to be allowed into the hall. i don't know why my mother or brother wasn't there. but it was sweet. just me and my dad.

another memory was of me and dad going to the petrol station. i can't remember the name, but it had a tiger as a mascot or something. and while he filled up, i waited in the car. i think we went there coz my dad could redeem some stuff coz i remember getting a shirt or a cup upon payment. i always followed to pay for petrol. i still do. i just like to look at the snacks. while at the counter, my dad asked me if i wanted a hotdog and he bought me one. i think it was the fact that he finally bought me something i wanted on a whim that i remember this event. sigh, daddy, daddy.

lastly, i remember being bitten by a rabbit at the petting zoo while my parents egged me to give the rabbit a carrot. i was afraid of the rabbit but my parents carried me and dumped me into the enclosure along with other gay, mad children who were unafraid of rabbits.

i've no idea why i blogged this. my relationship with my dad has kinda faded i suppose. i think i know the reason but parents are like teenagers in my eyes. their moods and temperament are volatile. i just don't know what to say to my dad at times. and sometimes he just ruffles my feathers. but memories are sweet. and he does 1001 stupid things. and he still says my snacks outweight the amount i eat, so he still knows me well i guess.

now get me a camera dad!
LOL

I am someone you might know, this is my personal weblog - means i write everything based on my personal perspectives, whether those are wrong or right, insulting or flattering, stupid or smart, those are my ways of seeing the universe. You may come and read, but the contents are not yours. If you don't like what you read - once again: those are mine. If you hate me because of my writings that's not my responsibility, I never asked you to come here.
